Historical experiences in Ebeltoft town
Just a short walk from the campsite you’ll find the charming old market town of Ebeltoft. Here you can stroll down the cobbled streets, admire the well-preserved half-timbered houses and visit the iconic Old Town Hall, one of Denmark’s smallest and oldest. Ebeltoft is also home to the impressive Frigate Jylland, the world’s longest wooden warship, which is docked in the town’s harbor. A visit to the museum provides a fascinating insight into Denmark’s maritime history.
Nature around Mols Bjerge National Park
If you love nature experiences, Mols Bjerge National Park is a must. Just a short drive from Ebeltoft Strand Camping is one of Denmark’s most spectacular nature areas. Here you can go hiking through the hilly landscapes, enjoy the views from the high hilltops or go cycling through the small villages. The national park is known for its unique nature and rich wildlife – keep an eye out for the wild horses and deer that are often seen in the area.

For the youngest (and those who are young at heart) Ree Park Safari and Scandinavian Wildlife Park are popular destinations where you can get close to both exotic animals and Nordic species. If you’re more into speed and excitement, you can take a trip to Djurs Summerland Denmark’s largest summerland with fun rides for all ages.

The beautiful beach at the campsite invites you to relax, and enjoy the water. You can swim, snorkel or simply soak up the sun on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous, you can also rent kayaks or paddleboards and explore the coastline from the water.
